This 1992 Bowman baseball card set article is brought to you by Baseball Set, a baseball card community with the resources to find your favorite specific baseball card sets and products from all major manufacturers.  This article will focus on 1992 Bowman baseball cards including some of the rookie cards with Manny Ramirez, Mariano Rivera, and Mike Piazza.   Baseball card collections easily are posted in detail there free of charge so that you can network with the other members.  The home page of the sister site, which has article summaries and other links, is also a great place to locate your favorite unopened boxes and collectibles. The rookie cards in this set are among the best out of any set from the 1990's, and they are valued accordingly by collectors. I have some of them in my baseball card collection.

The 1992 Bowman Baseball card set is still relatively affordable and that is despite its limited production, as well as its unparalleled selection of rookie cards.  The cards contain a Mike Piazza rookie card, Mariano Rivera's rookie, and Manny Ramirez's rookie, among several other good cards.  All of those players should be inducted in the hall of fame in my opinion, I would say that Piazza is a shoe-in as he is already retired and should be in as soon as his waiting period is up.  It is a great box to leave unopened and a great set to have.  I have a complete set of 1992 Bowman baseball cards.
Manny Ramirez rookie cards are a great find in this year's cards, along with Mariano Rivera, Mike Piazza, Manny Ramirez's foil rookie year card, Joe Randa's rookie, Garret Anderson's rookie card, Carlos Delgado, Derek Lowe, and Trevor Hoffman.  These rookie cards have a diversified selection of superstars and it is truly an awesome card set.
Wax boxes and jumbo boxes are fun to open.  They usually sell for upwards of $100 though, as the rookie card selection is valuable..

To compare and contrast the set with 1993 Bowman baseball, in my opinion the 1992 cards are way better. The player selection in 1993 Bowman leaves a bit to be desired for (though the Derek Jeter rookie card is a must have), but the market value of the cards reflects that.  Boxes cost about $25-40 and sets are a bit less than that.  That helps buyers accumulate these cards and I think that this set has the potential to increase in value.  That is not a guarantee of price increase but rather an opportunity based on its price.  The Derek Jeter rookie card in this set is one of his best rookie cards, though not nearly as valuable as his 1993 Upper Deck SP rookie card.
