I have been opening some unopened boxes of 1990 Score Baseball recently and have gotten some great cards. This is a great year of cards because of the rookies, which include Frank Thomas, Sammy Sosa, Juan Gonzalez, Larry Walker, Bernie Williams and many other potential and future hall of famers. There are key second year cards of Ken Griffey Jr. along with Curt Schilling as well as the regular star and hall of famer cards of Cal Ripken Jr., Nolan Ryan, George Brett and many others. I will be opening another box later today and will post some of the cards that I receive in that box so that everyone can see what a great value boxes are because they are really inexpensive. I cannot imagine them always being this inexpensive, though many people would disagree with me on that.
Here we go with a box break of an unopened box of 1990 Score Baseball cards. I will post the results in this thread as I go through the box right now.
in pack #2 there was a 1990 score dream team bo jackson card, #687. it is not worth that much yet but it will go in my collection of bo jackson cards.
This card year focused a lot on Bo Jackson, there are many cards of him in this year's set.
The pack I just opened had a Don Mattingly card, #1 from 1990 Score. These packs were from an unopened box that came in a case of the cards, wow! It was fun to open as the unopened wax packs and boxes not only contained great cards, but some had the key rookies on the tops and on the backs of the packs (which I have left unopened once I realized to check for that first). This is a set that may prove to be undervalued in the years to come.
